Richard Lipscombe
Richard co-founded Proteomics International Laboratories (ASX: PIQ) in 2001 and led it as Managing Director for 25 years, establishing it as a recognised global leader in precision diagnostics before retiring from the board in early 2026. He took the company’s PromarkerD blood test for diabetic kidney disease from discovery through to commercialisation, and built out a pipeline of predictive diagnostic tests spanning endometriosis, oesophageal cancer and other chronic diseases.
A protein chemist by training, he is well published in peer-reviewed journals, holds several patents, and brings deep expertise in proteomics, mass spectrometry and the long path from laboratory science to an approved, reimbursed product. He remains an active investor in the sector, backing early-stage life sciences and medtech companies and the science that underpins them.
Jacqueline is a Board Chair, Non-Executive Director and ASX-listed CFO with more than 25 years’ experience across listed companies, global corporations, private-equity-backed businesses and founder-led growth organisations. She has partnered with boards, CEOs, investors and management teams through growth, transformation, capital raising and rising operational complexity — spanning strategy, governance, capital markets, investor relations, risk oversight and M&A.
She currently chairs Communicare, one of Western Australia’s leading community-service organisations. A Chartered Accountant and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she brings board-grade financial stewardship and governance to founders and leadership teams.
Pearl is a diagnostics commercialisation and operations leader with over ten years taking products from concept to global commercial launch at an ASX-listed medtech company. Her experience spans the full diagnostic lifecycle across US, Australian and European markets — building CLIA- and ISO 15189-accredited reference laboratories, securing US reimbursement coding, establishing manufacturing and partner networks, and navigating regulatory submissions across multiple jurisdictions, for products spanning diabetic kidney disease and oncology.
A scientist by training, she works where commercial strategy meets technical execution — building the regulatory and reimbursement roadmap, then making the lab, manufacturing and partner operations deliver against it.
